Police Announced New Recruits, And They Look Pretty Intimidating

Taiwan’s National Police Agency just released photos of its newest members to the K-9 Anti Bomb and Drug unit — they just might be the cutest recruits you’ve ever seen.

Six new recruits for Taiwan’s National Police Agency have just made their worldwide debut, according to Mashable. Their names are Fushin, Schumann, Feida, Yige, AJ, and Liang.

Oh, and did we mention they’re only about a month old, have four legs, and will steal your heart?

The fuzzy recruits will be training to become detention dogs in Taipei’s K-9 Anti Bomb and Drug unit.

While it doesn’t seem like it, the little pups already have personalities and are training even while they eat. According to BuzzFeed, their trainers are acclimating the dogs to the smell of narcotics by putting some next to them before mealtime.

The police force has obviously warmed up quickly to the cute puppies, but they were actually nervous before they arrived. The particular unit that the dogs are in has never recruited puppies before.

They have worked with adult dogs, though. The puppies’ parents were also members of the unit, which has 22 dogs so far.

We wish these tiny recruits all the best as they start to serve and protect the good people of Taipei.
